Software License Policy

Effective date: 8 October 2026

Website: https://brahmacoding.com/

1. Overview

BrahmaCoding may provide commercial PHP scripts, XenForo add-ons, themes, utilities and other software under a license rather than an assignment of ownership. This policy describes typical license principles. The specific product listing, paid invoice, license certificate or separately agreed contract determines the rights actually granted for that product. Do not assume every application uses the same license terms.

2. License grant

Subject to payment and any product-specific conditions, the customer receives a limited, non-exclusive right to install and use the licensed software for the permitted environment, website or project. The license is not a transfer of copyright. The permitted use, license length, availability of updates, domain count and deployment restrictions will be described in the product-specific offer or license record.

3. Domain and installation limits

Some BrahmaCoding products use domain-based activation and may permit one domain per license by default, while other products may allow a different maximum configured for that license. Additional domains, development environments, staging installations, subdomains and domain changes are not automatically included unless the product terms or license manager explicitly permit them. Ask for clarification before deploying to additional domains.

4. Activation and license verification

Certain products require an activation key and may communicate with a BrahmaCoding licensing endpoint to validate license status, permitted domain or term. An installation may require periodic verification, depending on the product. Before purchase, review any requirements for network access, hosting compatibility and license-server availability. If a license check fails, contact support with your order reference and non-secret diagnostic details.

5. Restrictions

Unless expressly permitted in writing or by mandatory law, license holders must not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, share activation keys, remove attribution or license notices, circumvent activation mechanisms, or represent BrahmaCoding software as their original commercial product. Reverse engineering restrictions are subject to any applicable statutory exceptions. Use of software for unlawful conduct is prohibited.

6. Modifications and integrations

Customers may be permitted to customize a product for their licensed deployment, subject to its license and third-party components. Modifications can affect support eligibility or compatibility. You remain responsible for testing custom changes, backing up data and respecting the licenses of any libraries and third-party services incorporated into a deployment.

7. Updates and support

Updates, defect fixes, installation assistance and support are provided only to the extent described in the product offer or support agreement. An active license does not necessarily include unlimited development services, major version upgrades or perpetual support. End-of-life notices and support timelines may differ among products.

8. License transfer and renewal

Transferring a license to another domain, operator or owner may require approval, deactivation of the previous installation or a change in the licensing portal. Renewal requirements vary by product. Do not share keys, account access or customer credentials when requesting a transfer. Contact BrahmaCoding to confirm eligibility and the required procedure.

9. Intellectual property

BrahmaCoding retains its applicable intellectual-property rights in original code, designs and documentation unless a separate written agreement explicitly transfers those rights. Third-party libraries, fonts, icons and frameworks remain subject to their own licenses. Open-source obligations continue to apply wherever relevant and are not overridden by this policy.

10. Breach and suspension

Where license conditions are materially breached, BrahmaCoding may take actions consistent with the product agreement and applicable law, which can include notice, a reasonable opportunity to remedy, or suspension of a license. Remedies and any termination procedure should be determined by the specific license agreement and legal requirements.

11. Product limitations

Compatibility, uptime, security, warranty coverage and liability limitations are governed by the relevant product description, service agreement, Terms of Service and applicable law. Customers should maintain independent backups and test updates before applying them to production systems.

12. Questions and disputes

If you believe an activation is incorrect, a domain was misclassified, or a license record needs correction, contact https://brahmacoding.com/contact with your product name and purchase reference. Avoid publishing license keys, server credentials or confidential customer information. We will review the record and available remedies.

13. Policy changes

We may revise this general policy. Changes do not retroactively remove rights granted under an existing binding agreement unless the agreement and applicable law permit it. Review the license included with your actual product for controlling terms.
